Dubtransmissions is a Birmingham based independent record label embracing evolution and creativity. We sign and produce talented singer/songwriters regardless of age or race, who record and perform with emotion and passion, writing what they feel. We are interested in the continuing evolution of dub. That is why you will hear dirty bass lines, unusual samples, and quality composition as part of an eclectic mix of styles.

Working with ID Studios we are able to create and release music crossing many genres from rock to dance to reggae to folk.

Our market is the record buying public across all genres and territories throughout the world. We currently have deals with iTunes, ioda and Tune Tribe for digital downloads.

A very good sunday morning to you all. What a beautiful day it is too. I'm going to keep this brief so you can get out and enjoy the sun to its fullest.

Dubnine - had a great time in Malta. He spent a very busy weekend training around 25 individuals during his vocal masterclasses including performance and breathing techniques. We're hoping to get copies of videos and photos from the weekend to post here so you get an idea of what its like.

ID Studio - i spent a very enjoyable 2 days recording german group Judged Cover who flew in from Leipzig in Germany to put vocals down on 4 tracks we've been working on for them. Expect to hear examples of their work in the next couple of weeks once they've been mixed. Once again thanks to Marcus and Chrissy for working so hard during our time in the studio, can't wait to get to the mix.

Spin - as you know dubnine's latest single is spin, which you can hear on the player above and also buy following the link up there. He's also been busy with Marc Bhatti of Birmingham City University filming the music video so expect to see stills and the final video soon.

Lastly apologies for those of you who have tuned into our rhubarbradio show for the last 2 weeks, you'll have noticed neither dubnine or i have been in. This is due to our hectic work schedules over the last 2 weeks but rest assured we'll be back next week so hope to see you then.
